Synopsis

TV personality Robert Wilcot is adopted as Tory candidate in the Earndale by-election. Representing Labour is Stella Stoker, the daughter of a Billingsgate fish merchant. Aided by their respective agents, they wade into their campaigns. From the first, Robert and Stella are attracted to each other - but each refuses to admit it!
