Synopsis
Giovanna is a salesgirl passionately fond of dancing. Her friend Mario pushes her into Enrico's arms, a moneyed nobleman who spurns her advances. Vexed, she leaves for a ballet tour. On returning triumphantly, she lives with Mario again. He persuades her to marry Enrico, now besotted with her. She agrees and falls in love with him. Following his death she gives away his wealth and devotes her life to dancing.
