Synopsis

The first war movie filmed by soldiers themselves, The War Tapes tells the story of Operation Iraqi Freedom through the eyes of three young men from different backgrounds, driven to fight for different reasons. The soldiers’ unfailing candor and honesty paints a complicated picture and tells a story that the 2,700 embedded reporters in Iraq could never get.
