Synopsis
Hoffman, secretly in love with his typist, blackmails her into spending a week in his flat, promising not to reveal that her fiancé, Tom, is engaged in crooked deals with cigarette thieves. Learning that Tom is prepared to sacrifice her to save his own skin, she realizes Hoffman's true worth and is prepared to stay with him forever.
