Synopsis

When Soapy Stevens visits his former partners in crime, Dodger Lane, Jelly Knight and Lennie Price, to organise a big diamond theft, he reckons they will have the perfect alibi - for they will all be in jail when the robbery takes place! They engineer their escape in a Black Maria and the diamonds are taken back to jail in a dust cart. It is only when the trio are released the following day that things really begin to go wrong ...
