Synopsis
August 1997. As the Pope arrives in Paris for World Youth Day, 23-year old Jonas, a young Jewish father, is grappling with the ancestral obligation of burying his newly circumcised son's foreskin. To make a tough task tougher, Jonas is unknowingly pursued by a bunch of heavies hired by a jealous husband. To make things harder still, he bumps into a young Romanian girl who is an ardent fan of Pope John-Paul II and a "collector of auras" to boot. Will Jonas let himself be swayed from his age-old duty, or will he find a way to live with his roots and find himself as a father?
