Synopsis
Eddie Booth and his wife Joan live in a neat row of terraced houses - somewhere in England. Living next door are Bill Reynolds and his wife Barbie. The two men work in the same factory. Socialistic avowed racial discriminator Eddie maintains a constant barrage of abuse at Bill, the happy-go-lucky Jamaican with strong conservative views who is quite capable of throwing back as good as he gets. Joan and Barbie are friends, and when the local newspaper runs a Love Thy Neighbour competition they decide to enter it - albeit they will have to lie through their teeth to win.
