Synopsis
James Rainbow, in a moment of jealous rage, attacks his girlfriend and finds himself for the first time in his life on the wrong side of the law. Rainbow finds prison life almost unendurable at first, until he discovers the unexpected friendliness and philosophic acceptance of life among men living in a degrading and inhuman society.
