Asa, a young sailor, returns home to Kazakhstan fresh from completing his service in the Russian Navy. He is desperate for a farm of his own, but before his brother-in-law will entrust him, he must first find a wife. Unfortunately, the only eligible girl for miles is the beautiful Tulpan, who thinks Asa`s ears are too big. What hope does he have of winning the girl of his dreams?
